I am wondering if it is possible to change the grille and bumper on my 97 Lariat over to the 99 - 03 style? If so can anyone tell what might be involved as far as parts? I smacked a deer over the weekend so now seems like a good time to make some changes.

You will need a new grill surround (area that goes around the grill and headlights) and a new bumper. The bumper, lower valance, and upper valance. My friend did this back in 1999 to his 1998 truck, he went to a Lightning front end.

 

It appears that Ford has different part numbers for the grille and bumper brackets. Are they actually different or will the old ones work?
