I've had Silverstars in the Sport Trac about a year now. Not alot of night driving in the summer, but alot in the winter as the wifes goes to evening college.
Had Silverstars for heads and fogs in the Escape for about 9 months. No trouble at all.
Now...APC lights...had those for about three months in the 99 Lariat. I figured those burned a max of 20 hours before one burnt out. No surprise APC didn't answer any of my emails regarding warranty.
I think you have the best there is. I will be putting the Silverstars in the Screw soon. Maybe when I get the clear lenses.

I've had 9007 Silverstars in 2 cars for at least a year with no problems, but I have had 2 regular Sylvania 100W H3 bulbs burn out in my PIAA fogs in the past year.

Silverstars in my fogs for over 7 months with zero problems here. Glad to hear that Sylvania is stepping up to the plate and taking care of their customers.

Honestly, I think it's a 'low ball' number that Sylvania (and any other manufacturer for that case) puts out. They don't want to put some number like 4000 hours on the market and then have some bozo show up after using them for 3700 hours and have one blow and then raise cane with them.

I think it's a built in 'safety factor' to 1) save face and 2) not give the customer a huge expectation.

I'm sure they'll last longer than that however; if they don't, Sylvania does, indeed, have an out.
