I recently had a glasscape window mural installed. The installer did a excellent job and the mural looks great. However, I didn't do enough research before purchasing the product. I "assumed" that the mural would be installed on the INSIDE of the vehicle. Obviously this is not the case.

I have since searched the internet over for a company that has an inside applied mural, but have found none.... Why?

There are many problems with the mural located on the outside, of which the most annoying is rain. After the first rain with the mural installed, I was SHOCKED to discover that I had NO VISION thru the rear window.

So here is a list of why I want the mural on the inside:

1. No problems with weather (frost, rain, snow, fading, etc.)
2. Harder to vandalize
3. Easier to keep clean

Any one know of a vendor that sells an inside mural? Or did I just stumble onto a marketing opportunity?

 

A co-worker had the install done. Same complaints you have. Can't understand the way it is installed. I think it was a ploy to make a buck after 9-11. He got the american flag with the eagle.
