What you talkin bout replica. This is the real deal says "Ford" all over it. Plus the grills I got off a guys Ford Lightning in the classified section. There is nothing replica about it.

My stock factory lower valence was painted for $3.47...
I used the Krylon Fusion paint, no mess, no prep (hardly) and I've taken through a VERY high pressure wash already and the paint is holding great, did it myself on a Saturday morning.

See before and after pics in my Gallery at
https://www.f150online.com/galleries....cfm?gnum=2957

I used the tip from another Forum
http://www.fordf150.net/howto/paintairdam.php
and it was tooo easy...

GasGuzzler007: Lightning sit lower to the ground than sport trucks. I think they have different suspension. Also the head lights are different. My grill inserts are honeycomb. Plus that guys camera is alot better than mine and none of my pictures are at that angle or of that quality. Wish they were though.

Gotcha, but I was just talking about the bottom grille. Was there a difference between yours because in your pic it appears that the lower grille has like two large plastic things on the side while his is the same all around. Thats why I thought it was fake

I bet his has the same side things as my honeycomb grill insert. Except his is black so you can see it. Those 2 pieces are so you cannot see the frame behind the bumper cover.

If I may ask:
1. What hood is that?
2. What rims are on there?
3. Where did you get your tonneau cover?
4. Has your truck been lowered? (If so, whose kit did you use?)

(I wound up going with SVT rims and a Cervini's hood)

Your truck looks awesome.

1. Stock hood with Mustang GT hood scoop.
2. 20x9 Mille Miglia Mesa wheels from TireRack. $168 each
3. ARE LSII tonneau from local truck accessory place.
4. Bell Tech 3/4 lowering kit.

Lightnings come 1" lower than a regular F150 due to different springs. The HD's use the same springs.

And maybe the reason for the confusion with the grilles...the 99-00 L's had the honeycomb/mesh grilles like invalid's pic, and the 01-03 L's have the thick black horozontal bar design like in gasguzzler's pic, as well as the clear headlights and corners
