Unhappy Headlight Bulb Question. Need Help!!!!

I have been reading posts ALL day on headlight replacement bulbs and there is currently a post similar to this, but isn't much help. I have a few questions. I see that a lot of people like the Silverstars, but I want something that gives some blue/purple tint that looks like HID. I see some people like the Eurolites, and I found these plasma bulbs they just came out with.

http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/EUR9007DP

They are the right wattage, so they should not mess up the wiring, I just want to make sure I am not going to melt the headlight housing. So what do you guys think??? If I don't want the Silverstars and want the HID look and color, would these be a good choice?? And if not what is???

Well, I can only tell you from my own experience. I have Farenhiet Xenons, and I love 'em, but they're 100W, so I've got a heavy duty harness from www.suvlights.com. The harness seems to help on some vehicles reguardless of the bulbs... I got my bulbs from www.xenonmods.com. Cheapest I've found anywhere ($18 shipped, I think). I tried the SilverStars ($40 @ AutoZone), and couldn't tell the difference from the stock ones, so I took 'em back...

just my two cents...

got a few pix in my gallery...

Thanks for the info. The lights I am looking at are 55/65 watt sp they should be fine with the normal harnesses.

I held out on giving an opinion (for the second time ever)...

But, I'll give this opinion... you're going to love the silverstars. Good choice!

I got them today, haven't put them in yet though. I hope they are not yellow though.

Good to hear. I had read some posts about them and some(very few) said they were alittle yellow. Also I want to make sure they won't melt anything or mess up the factory wiring at all. I was told that since they are the original wattage they should be fine.

I put in the Silverstars and they made a big difference. But also change the fogs to 9005's.

I have heard of several folks having problems with PIAA bulbs and a few other varieties but, when it comes to the silverstars, I've heard of absolutely no one having problems...including me.

Enjoy!
