SUPER E-Z!!!

Okay, for anyone who was hesitant like I was, getting the door panels off is EASY, super simple and nothing to worry about. Thanks for the help and the CAL-VU's look GOOD!

Thumbs up

Thanks for this thread. I am about to replace the mirrors on my truck and was dreading it. I picked up some M3 mirrors with the LEDs in them. My driver's side mirror just cracked one day and don't know why.

Thumbs up details...

In a nutshell...

#1 Pop off the rear plastic panel, by hand (rear side of window).

#2 Unscrew tiny screw now visble.

#3 Pop off housing around door lever (use thin screwdriver).

#4 Pop off window handle cover at base (mine roll down) to expose star end screw that holds handle in place, unscrew.

#5 Unscrew tiny screw near door lever.

#6 Grab panel at the bottom of the door and slide the entire thing UPWARD and it should slide/pop out of several large tabs holding it in place.

That's it! Cake! Later!

I had to replace my drivers side mirror a few years back and I was pleasantly surprised at how simple it was.

Much better than the door panels w/ the plastic or metal clips that always break off. Mo Betta-Mo Betta-Mo Betta!!
