Talking Did a lil spring cleaning

Take this RP

Spent a good 6 hours yesterday IN THE RAIN working on my truck. Went through 3 sets of clothes because they got too soaking wet from me crawling around on the driveway under the truck. LoL!

Anyway, i sanded down, washed, dried, and painted the rear axle, leaf spring packs, rotors, hubs, and calipers. Its lookin better than new!

Also installed a rear hellwig antisway bar, which i had powdercoated red for that extra bling factor. LoL. Matches my pinstripe and calipers now. install was a PITA though!

Now for pics....

Endlink and part of the red rear sway bar

definately have to get some shoter endlinks for that thing with my 3" rear drop its way outta wack.

Still haven't gotten a chance to test drive it with the new swaybar on though, been raining out since about 12 yesterday! this weather blows!
I'll snap a few better pics of the swaybar later on if it ever stops raining for a minute.

O yeah RP, i'm back on the island! LOL!

Red or black, or yellow, that blue looks sick next to all those other colors

well the top of the bilsteins are rubber (the blue part) so i can't really paint those. I could paint the bottom part, but black and blue would look even worse.

The main color on my truck is black (duh lol) with red accents (pinstripe, calipers, swaybar), and i was gonna paint the bilsteins black and maybe try and find red or black shock boots, but i kinda am starting to like how when you look under the truck, the 1st thing you notice is the upgraded blue and yellow bilsteins.

I know its alot of colors, and i'm usually one for subtle mods, but i dunno

Now you need to go get some black ceramic high temp paint for your exhaust...

Thanks guys!

I think i might do the gas tank and exhaust next

Anyway, i used regular old rustoleum paint in a quart can and brushed it on. Can't tell the difference if i sprayed it or not cuz the finish is rough anyway, and no need to mask crap off or overspray, etc.
Used satin black because if i used gloss it would water spot and show all the defects and bumps more, and flat would be too boring looking
