As per my other thread I'm planning to do the 99 update, with an 03 HD airdam replica. I am wondering if anyone knows of a front end bra that fits the 03 HD bumper? I know Ford probably sells one, but I know the price is probably crazy also. I do ALOT of interstate driving, and want to save this front end for a while. When I switched to my current bumper cover, front end protection went out the window, sigh. It completely closes the grill to bumper gap, making it impossible to mount a bra on. Not to mention that no one makes a bumper bra for this cover. I want the new front completely protected before I ever hit the road,,,,98

 

Ford does NOT make a bra for the 03 HD, nor any HD truck for that matter.

A guy in Florida gets bra's custom made for the HD community, and he's still in the process of getting one made up for the 03 valance.

I was under the impression they did, given the whole "biker" harley theme. It sounds like that riled your feathers a bit? Sorry... They made a tonneau for it, or were supposed to? This was a natural assumption on my part Anyway, thanks for the info.,,,,98

 

well, ford makes a soft tonneau cover with a HD logo on it, and they also make a bra with the HD logo on it, but the bra is only for the grille and hood. no bumper protection at all, exactly where you get the most rock chips

Just let me know if you want me to put you on the 03 HD bra list if you don't want to spend all the time registering at NHTOC just to say you're in.

As for putting a 03 HD valance on your truck, doesn't bother me at all. i plan on putting one on my 97 f150 when i get it and do the 99+ conversion
