Got new hood, now what bumper cover?

Just got my new Cervini's hood on. Now don't quite like the bumper. The question is which one looks good with a truck that will eventually be raised and get bigger wheels. I was debating between the HD and lightning, but can't picture them on a raised truck. I guess my other option is to paint my bumper. Any suggestions or pics would be appreciated.

how big is "bigger wheels" I dont think a lightning bumper would look good on any '50 that is raised but thats just IMHO. Most '50s I see raised have either a stock bumper or a smaller one.

Something like the pic below. I like the look of F150 Ram Air's truck. I know it's '97 bumper and std cab, so, not sure how it would look on mine. I think he only has a 3" lift. Hope he doesn't mind me linking to his photo.

He doesn't have any lift i believe. Just cranked up the Torsion bars.

anyway, my vote for a lifted truck's valance is either a painted stock one, or a PIAA one

Harley#356, hmm, looks slight lifted. Maybe those tires throw me off. Is there a downside to cranking the torsion bars vs. getting a 3 or 4" body lift. I would go with a suspension lift, but I don't want to spend that much. I guess I am still undecided about giving it a lift. I was looking at the PIAA valance, did you see anyone that painted there's? Here any good or bad comments about them? The PIAA valance may give it the look I am looking for. I will search the site to see if I can dig anything up. BTW: did you get your hood back from the paint shop yet?

Ok, did some looking, found the street scenes and PIAA valance look pretty good. I think what I am going to do is get new rims and tires, maybe raise the truck a little and go from there. I will probably go with either Nitto 305X70-16X10's or 315X75-16X10's but need to see what modification is necessary to put them on. I will start a new thread for that. Thank you all for all your input.

I think it looks pretty good like it is. I might have the lower half of the bumper painted to match, throw the Nascar palte away and install billtet upper and lower grills and custom fabicrate some for the hood scoops. The center chrome section adds a nice sparkel to the front.

Hey Stealthster..... Wanted to offer you a proposition (relax, nothing off color). I might be willing to take the stock valance and fogs off your hands and help defer the cost of your new valance. If you're interested, drop me an email at m_teague@hotmail.com.

I would go with the Harley grille without a doubt. It is IMO the nicest grille out there!
