Clear tail lights!

I was wondering if anyone made an all clear taillight any more, I know alot of cars used to run them, but due to legallity reasons everyone switched to altezzas. I really would like to have the all clears, because my truck is all white and I think it would look much better than having the chrome and red tails(altezza's or euros) Any info as to where i could get a set would be greatly appreciated!

To my knowledge nobody makes them anymore. I should hav ebought a set when I could... they are impossible to find. If you find a set for a flareside/supercrew. let me know ASAP! I'll keep my eyes peeled for a set for you too.

Ok, this is the reverse question to that, and to answer it you need the knowledge of the California Vehicle Code. I have looked all over google and couldn't find the answer to this, is it leagal to drive in CA with the backlights blacked out. I have see a product that makes the lights black when they aren't on, but shines through when they are on, and being the complete the same brightness as if it wasn't there (so the boxing claims). Any ideas if these are good to go? I figure it is like some kinda tinting product. I guess I'll take them down to the local police station and find out if none of you are CA law experts .

be careful with that stuff, in pa if the state police see that it was inspected with the tails blocked in any way there will be hell to pay

No they are not. I had slotted tail light covers on mine and got pulled over because of them and got a fix it ticket. Something about not being able to see the light from a certain distance and they have to be a specified brightness. I had to remove them, my side tint, vent visors, and front clear corner lights.
