Oh! OK, that sounds pretty smooth.

Just one more dumb question (no promises though)...replacing the plastic under the hood...is that going to be some type of heat resistant painted stuff or what?

no, its just going to be the stock pieces (new ones) sanded smoothed and painted and cleared and buffed. It holds up fine. I know quite a few guys at ftw that have done theirs on their own. and the guy who is does my stuff for me had the underhood pieces painted on his L for quite some time without any problems, and his work is out of this world!
