How to remove front emblem?

How do you remove the front emblem on a 1999 F150? I think I see the nuts to do it but they are not easily accessable.

if you can't reach them from underneath, you will have to take off the black plastic piece that's ontop of the grill surround. The nuts are self-threading metal formed like a nut. Everytime you put them on, they gouge into the plastic. You will just need a socket or wrench to take them off.

yup, just undo the 8 screws, pop out the pins and take the radiator shroud off

then squeeze your hand back there and you need a deep metric socket to get the bolts off. not fun at all if you don't have deep metric sockets either but its still doable with an adjustable wrench, just a PITA!!! loL
i swapped mine when i changed my grille emblem. not too hard though
