Installed SilverStars about 2months ago. Used 9005 for fogs. The other day I noticed one was out after driving through some puddles. Took bulb out (what was left of it) and the rubber seal was broke in half. Checked the other one same thing. Now both fog light assemblies are off and have to be dried out. Also have to clean the inside of the lenses because of water spots.

Anyone else have this problem?

Any suggestions on cleaning inside of lenses?

 

1st time i've heard of a problem with the silverstars. goodluck sorting it all out though. so what exaclty when wrong with them? the seals were bad? or did the whole bulb blow? i should be getting my silverstars in a few days

 

Seals were split in half and one bulb bursted do to the water in the assembly. No problems with the headlights. Once I dry out the lenses I will put SilverStars back in. I will just be more careful on the install. I think that could have caused the bad seals.
