Hello all, i was wonder if the lower billit insert that is sold in the store here is the one that will go in the lower half of valance and will work on my 2000 f150???

and has anyone ever installed one and if so, how did it go????

I want to finish up the billit in the front of the truck i have the top part but i want to paint the lower valance and put in the loer billit insert, some day.....

Any help would be great.:-)

they've got alot of billet grilles, and i'm sure if they don't have the right size one for you, they can custom make it. they do alot of that stuff. they made my hood inserts and they came out great

 

I have a Stull 5084-P that is new in the box if you are interested in buying one. I have never even opened the box. http://www.stullindustries.com/billgrills.html#FORD It says "99-01 Ford F-150 Bumper Insert - 2 WD Only". And P represents that it is polished. I have only installed the upper, so I can not help you on the install. I am not sure what they go for. I think I paid 80 for it back in 2000. I was thinking I would like to get $50. But, I just called Stylin concepts and they want $59.95 for a new one. So I would be happy if I could get $40 plus 5 for shipping. is that for the lower valance, it doesnt soud like it is, a picture would be great, if you got any.?? It has to be the lower bumper insertso it matches the upper....

And ya i could throw 45$ for it...

But i got to make sure its the right one first.

 

No I do not have pics and unfortunately I do not have a digital camera either. I could call Stull and ask. But if it is not for the grill (which the box is too small for it to be for a grill) and I have not opened the box either)) and not for the valence I do not know what it would be for. I thought the only two options were bumper and grill. I am not sure what the difference would be between valance and bumper. I also understand you wanting to make sure it is the correct part. I clicked on the link for Stull again and all I see is "bumper" inserts in their descriptions. I do not see anything listed for a "valance". I was going to call Stull, but I do not know all the details about your truck. It appears that for a 99-01 2wd F150 that is the only one Stull offers.
