I have a shortbed, reg cab... do you think I would need extra wire or not?
Also, how long did it take?

you might need to extend the wires, or you may not. It would be close, you might just want to pick up 5 extra feet of wire before you start just incase. you'll probably definately have to extend the wires to reach the transformer cuz that needs to be near the battery to get enough power. hope this helps some
