Question Splash Guards without molding

I purchased a set of splash guards from Pep Boys a few days ago, installed them and to my surprise they mounted crooked.

After looking at other installation on other F150's I finally took note of the wheel moldings between the guards and the truck.

Does anyone have any suggestions or do I need to just break out the dremel and start (TWEAKING?)

Sorry about that i deleted that pic. It should work now. You really can't see the mud flaps if you need a better pic i could get one for you. What brand of mud flaps are you using.

Well they are not husky, called 'Powerflow' or 'Pro-Fit' from Pep boys. I'm convinced they are for applications that have wheel lip molding installed.
