Question Mount amp on sub box?

Will vibration from 2 10" subs damage an amplifier? I've built a sub box that will go below my rear seat (SC) and I'd rather not mount my amp under the drivers side, so I'm contemplating mounting the amp directly to the box. Maybe using some type of rubber washers between the amp and the box would help dampen the vibes?

There are differing opinions on this one. A well built enclosure should have little to no vibration. I have my amp mounted on my enclosure and have had no problems.

I was told it does matter but one of my friends has his amp and cap mounted on his box for 2 JL 12w3's. I used to be a believe of hey you cant do that it will ruin your amp but now it seams to be that its ok since his amp has been on there for a year or better and hasnt had one problem with it.

Thumbs up

Mounting amps on your boxes does not cause any harm to your amps. I have mounted them on and off the sub box depending on the vehicle and the box. The only thing is you have to make sure they are secured properly on.
Good Luck
