Question Mount the amp to the floor?

Ok, right now i'm set to get a '98 Ext.Cab in a few weeks. Right now in my car i have a Cadence Z100 amp and two MTX 3000 10" subs. So, what's the best way to mount the amp? If i put it on the floor, do i just screw into the floorboard? I don't really like that idea, so there has to be something else i can do. In my car i built my own amp rack to the side of the trunk with a piece of plywood and some old carpet, and that works fine. Also, is it best to get a truck box for the subs and set them behind the seat, or build a custom box and place them under the rear seat?

Does anyone have pics i could look at to make things clearer? thanks.

Mine are mounted to the floor

Unfortunately there's not much room to mount amps anywhere else in a Scab so I screwed mine into the floor. I did use stainless steel screws and made sure that I sealed the ends of the screws from underneath. I have one under the back seat and one under the front seat. Hope this helps.
