S-cab Amp Ideas And Install

I have a '97 S-Cab Lariat w/power seats, and I want to upgrade the speakers and push them with a lower end amp. I have seen alot of people are using Polk and Pioneer for the most part. I am curious if anyone has tried the Pioneer 6X8 Plate Speakers. I will not be installing a head unit or a sub box.

Also, I am wanting to install an amp that is 4 channel and will not affect the rear seats from lying down. I do have a little bit of room over the CD Changer. I also do not particularly want to have to mess with RCA converters on the head unit.

If there is anyone that has a system that sounds solid or that has some input I will be very grateful for your time.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, if you have the factory head unit you will have to use a line converter because there are no pre-amp outs on the back of the HU. Or, you could look for an amp with speaker level inputs. No matter what you choose, as long as you have a stock HU you will have to cut wires.
