Amp blew or lost a channel...possible?

Anyone know if it's possible for an amp to lose or blow a channel? I have an older 4ch/150w amp that is in my gf's car just to clean up the sound a bit, and the Left Front channel is putting out no sound. I've come to this via testing each wire, rca etc - even switching wires between sides etc. The left front does not want to put out sound. However, I am able to jump the two, say RF+ and LF+ and get sound, RF+ and LF- and get sound - just not when both front channels are setup properly.

Any insight would be appreciated, or suggestions for further testing. Thanks
