Different companies make better pieces than do others. All the Alpine quipment is good or better, and if you want all alpine got for it. I usually don't, because I like earthquake or MTX subs, Memphis and MTX amps (alpine for high ends) MBquart for componets, JL for subs too, JMO go witth what you like

I have heard the newest Alpine subs and must say that they do sound very good. Not SPL, but they hold their own.

Running all Alpine HU and amps. Sounds really good for the money and had the features I wanted, plus I got a super price on all of them .

Running the MRV - F307 and also a F357 amp. I plan on using the 307 to power a sub when I get one in the future. Really didn`t want to run all the speakers and sub through the 357. I`m planning on a sub in near future so it was easier to get it(307) hard wired in now and just plug in the subs later

So far no problems with the 357 and good clean sound through it and the HU into the polks.

I'm running an MRV F-307 to my mids and highs, and I plan on replacing my punch 100's with an MRV T-757 to power my 10's. needless to say, the Alpine amp is extremely efficient and has as much power I need -which is enough to be able to pull up to the shore and throw a keg party on the dock.
