I am looking forward in the next weeks to get my new Truck
I have a 2007 XL and did not have to much trouble installing
a Ham radio in that truck . I did have to snake power directly
from the battery thru the firewall plug under the gas pedal

What issues am I going to have if I try to attempt this on the new
trucks. Besides power from the battery unless there are better
places to take power from (10-15 amps max). Will I have issues
with the new computers or the Nav or Sync 3 console

I will be using the 2-meter and 440 mhz bands,

any and all feedback is greatly appreciated

Am I just asking for a lot of trouble
