I've got a 2012 F150. Will it be easy to access the back of the unit to add an amp so i can have a subwoofer? Ive done electrical wiring into my truck and external speaker wiring for my CB and hard wiring for electronics, but i have never touched a stereo system like Ford's. Can anyone help me out with what i will need?

Do you have the Sony upgrade? if it is the base stereo, i believe all you need is this line out converter. You wont' have to cut any wires at all. It includes plugs for the factory harness. You just plug it in, and POOF! instant RCA outs. This way when you remove the amp/stereo (if you sell the truck) everything plugs back in normal as if it were factory.
