Thoughts on Amps/Opinions

Prior to all my things getting ripped off (I truly hope Karma gets those punks these years later) I had some PPI amps for my system. Having been out of the audio game for awhile I've seen some new comers and existing dogs in the yard in the world of amps change in terms of who provides an awesome product.

Just curious but what is your amp preference for the following:

Sub(s)

Mids/highs

I am still fond of PPI but then again, not being in the game for awhile their product could have changed while their website became nicer on the eyes.. http://www.precisionpower.com/html-version/amps.html

Throw out your amps and thoughts on them!

PPI still isn't bad but they aren't highly underrated power wise like they used to be, they do right around rated power now.

I'm personally partial to MMats, great underrated amps, small sizes, highly effiecent, but they also carry a somewhat high pricetag, but used they're pretty affordable.

Look for class A/B amps for fronts for high SQ and class D for subs. If room is an issue, then class D for both is fine also. The longer I'm in this game the less I feel amplifiers plays a role. PPI still carries a good name but like most other players they've lost to the loud/cheap price crowd. I'm running Cadence & Audison, but have heard JL & RF and wouldn't have any problems using them.
