Amplifiers Are Installed

This is how I got the truck and what I have to work with

The previous owner had a system installed by a local stereo shop that used 2 runs of 8ga wire. I needed a little more power so I ran an additional 4ga power wire from a previous install

Added some sound deadener to the rear wall

Next was some sound absorption material to help quiet the road noise that comes from the back wall

Then I added some 1/4" material to make a flat surface to mount the amps

Mounted the Elemental Designs NINe.4 & NINe.1 amps

Both amps mounted, hooked up, fused distrobution block installed, and more sound absorption material added

And finally, put the factory panel back on

Enjoy

Thanks Ray21 - Running 2 eD 10" subs in a sealed box under rear seat, MB Quart 6.5" components in the front doors, JL Audio coaxials in the rear doors and a Pioneer AVH-P4200 head unit

Thanks jerrybizzle! I built the box myself in my spare time, it took about 2yrs to complete - lol. Not much spare time between the job and family, but I love this kind of stuff.

Sweet setup very clean. Great job wondering if you mind giving out the dimensions of that box? I'd like to try and make one exactly like that. Thanks!

Thanks alexarizpe! I will have to post up a box build thread when I get a chance. The only problem with this box is that you would have to modify the under side of your back seats to make this thing fit.

I noticed it was a full box with no "notch" for the seat frame on the passenger side. I would really like to see what you did. Thanks! Check out my album I have some pics of my install too! Thanks and let me know when you get that box thread!
