9 wire is your friend. 4 speaker runs and a remote line. Super easy to use and isn't too expensive

I remember doing this way back in 2000 and even planned ahead for future installs. My truck was about 3mths old when my son and I completely removed the interior including seats, panels, carpet, door panels and the like. I ran all new speaker wire for amp installs from all door speakers to rear of truck, 2 sets of amp wiring, nice RCAs, trigger lines and pulled all my XM wiring and antenna stuff through. We then installed 2 layers of sound deadening on floors and single on floors and walls. Put second layer of carpet matting down and put the truck all back together. It was 2 yrs later before I installed the second amp but WAS SO glad I had pre-wired it in advance and just had to uncap the wires and hook it all up. So much easier finding good ground points with everything out and running power feeds.
I remember my 78 yr old grandfather thought I had lost my mind tearing apart a new vehicle like that when he saw it...LOL

I ran speaker wire to all 4 doors in a 2010 Screw - didn't have molex connectors. It really wasn't that bad, I just used a somewhat stiff fish, started from the inside the door, fished through existing boot and then angled the wire where it would shoot down the pillar and then grabbed it from the bottom. I got the actual wire ran to all four doors in probably an hour or two (nothing connected just fished and ran) and I also have long skinny fingers which really did help lol.

I'm going to do this on my '09 in a month. I hear it's easier than the older models, but still not looking forward to running wire all day in the Texas heat.
