Wire Routing Question for 2011 Crew Cab

Hi everyone,

I am about to begin the stereo build in my 2011 XLT crew cab. I have the basic non-nav system and the bench front seats. I'd prefer not to dismantle the dash and want to only remove each door panel one time to avoid breaking things, making things loose, etc... I am installing MB Quart Premium 6.5" components in the front and rear as well as two JL 10W3v2's under the rear seat. My amps are both Rockford Fosgate: Power 551S and 851X.

I plan to mount my amps behind the rear seat. From what I have gathered, my only option for amp signals is to run the high level speaker signals to an LOC, then connect directly to an amp. My question is: Has anyone taken the high level signal wires from the doors to their amplifiers? Or is it usually done inside the dash? Is there any reason why taking the signals from the doors would be a bad idea? I figure that since I am already running wires in there, the logical choice would be to just run two. Would there be issues with noise from running close to the powered speaker wire?

You could do that. It would work fine. You may not even need an LOC if your amps have high level inputs. That is a lot of wire to run though. It would be easier to start from behind the HU and go straight back.
