I notice that a lot of newer F-150 owners mount their amps behind the rear seat. I did some searches and couldn't find anyone that has done it to the older style like mine (98). Just wondering if it can be done. I have mine under my rear seat but would like to move it out of the way and give it a cleaner look.

 

Nope, it won't fit. Pull the back of the seat off (two bolts at bottom and then just slides off) and you'll see there's absolutely no room because the back of the seat sits just about flush with the wall.
