JBL MS8 - 2011 F150 with nav/sync

I have been looking for a signal summing, factory eq compensating processor, that will retain the factory volume control. Retaining the factory volume control is a must. With the MS8, will I be able to retain the factory volume control?

It's great. I don't use sync, but I can. Only minor thing is when taking phone calls, you must mute the MS8 to bypass the time alignment to prevent echo. This is done by a software update downloadable from JBL, you click mute on the MS8's remote.
