Question about RCAs

I'm running new RCAs to my amp and just had a few questions.

1. Would it be better to run them down the center of the truck, under the carpet, or along the driver's side, under the door sill cover?

2. Also, any brand RCAs that you can suggest? I was looking at Stinger SPI4317 Car Audio PRO 3 Amp 4 Channel 17 Ft RCA Cable. I didn't know if they were any good, or if there were any better ones out there.

Thanks in advance.

Run them on the far opposite side as your amp power.

Don't worry, Stinger is normally good stuff.

Is it OK to run them in the door sills with the factory wires and my speaker wires?

It should be okay to run them down the door sills, but avoid the side that has your power wire for the amp, as already noted. If you pick up any interference, get better RCAs or run them down the center of the vehicle.

I have used the "Krystal Kables" on this site and like them, they are wrapped in three different layers of shielding

No need to run uber-cables unless you just really have a Jones for them. Any 100% shielded audio cable will do fine. Heck, I'm running Belden two conductor commercial-style audio cabling and have had zero interference or crosstalk issues. And it was 30 cents a foot vs three bucks. Door sill installation - driver's side for audio, passenger side for power.

Just about any good set of cables will do unless you're doing some competition or audiophile grade work.

I ran mine down the drivers side of the trans tunnel since my amp is centrally located under the rear bench, no interference but if I were to do it again I'd go for the driver side door sill. I used some shielded cables from the local flea market.

The setup is 2 10" low profile Sony's (300 peak/150 RMS each), Sony 4ch, bridged to 2ch?, Amp (600 peak/300 rms), custom under seat enclosure, Ford Head unit with adapter. It rarely get pushed hard but it pounds hard enough for me when it does.
