Question Remote on/off for aftermarket hu/amp

Sup everyone

This is my first install of an amp on an aftermarket head unit, and i'm trying to determine why there is no power to the amp.
Everything is setup the 'normal' way, including the remote on/off wire from the amp is spliced to the blue power antenna wire off the deck.

When i fire everything up, nothing get's power, so i'm thinking that it's the remote on/off job.

Any suggestions? I'm getting a multimeter tomorrow

TIA

when you turn on your stereo, is it on radio or cd/tape? some stereos wont send power to the "blue" line when you are listening to a tape or cd because the antenna doesnt need to be up. did you check the amp fuse? good luck

Yup, i tried it on radio and on cd, and the fuses (from battery, on Line to deck, and in amp) are all ok. I"m going to test the amp tonight at a buddies place, just to make sure it works. These things aren't really that hard to hook up, especially on an aftermarket deck.

Just hope my gf enjoys it, it's in her car!
