Theres a good chance its going to be dimming depending how much the bull bar lights pull, how efficient the amp is, how hard you pushing the system, etc. In my opinion the big 3 never hurts to do though

you know what to be completly honest with you i have no clue what my alternator is.. its just a factory 2004 f150 FX4 one.. Im planning on doing the big 3 just in case but its not like im going to be beatin the ***** off the amp either just to show off every once in a while but for the most part im going to keep my bass **** half way or so.. im going to do a test after i get the big 3 and turn my headlights on and my piaa's on at night and see if it dims

my friend has a 2006 tacoma with the same amp pushing two 10 JBLs with HIDS and he has the original battery and the only thing his does is when the volumn is all the way up the inside lights will dim a little but he has a little battery and its pretty much shot so with my new 880 cold crank battery i might be ok with just the big 3

The alternator powers your truck after it has been started. Just use your setup and then you can see what needs to be done. If lights are dimming (I know mine did with just a 1000w amp, radar detector, gps, and cb radio - on a 2000 F150) then you can try the Big 3. If that doesn't work then you can change to a high output alternator which will fix your problem. Your truck should have a 130 amp and honestly I don't think it will be an issue.

yeah if its an 04 im guessin it will be a 130.....my 97 came with the 95 amp and it blew after 4 days of my system and then again shortly thereafter with a new one....upgrading to the 130 amp was my cure

You might want to put an overdrive pulley on that alternator to generate more power at idle and low rpm.
