Amp going into protect over half volume

Start with the set up. 2 kicker cvt 10s. kicker zx750.1. wired up with a 4 gauge kit (with 8 gauge ground) Stock navi hu infinity components in front. Worked like a charm the first 3 weeks. Now anytime I turn up my volume over halfway my amp goes into protect on/off/on/off. by on/off i mean it goes into protect for literally a half second then comes back on. but it's constant. on/off/on/off. The problem didn't occur until i removed the infinity kappas i had in the back doors out after they stopped working after just 3 weeks I put my stock speakers (from the front door 50w) back into the rear door. Ever since it's given me the problem. I did remove both speakers from the back door thinking since it started after i installed that should fix it. It didn't... Any feedback would be appreciated

First, your ground should be the same size as your power wire. It carries the same current. Sounds like you may just have a bad connection somewhere.

Do the stock speakers have the same resistance as the infinity kappas?

I just dont understand why it worked perfect for 3 weeks then went to crap. With nothing really changed. And yes stock speakers are same resistance as the infinitys

Usually, when an amp turns off at half volume like that, it means + and - speaker wires are crossing somewhere
