Can't comment on Jensen but you get what you pay for.

From looking at those speaker specks it looks like they want some power to them. If your budget is $150 and you want new I would go over by 9 bucks and get the MB Quart ONX 4.80.

It still really isn't in the power range you really need but 125x4 is more than $150. You could go $209 and get the MB Quart ONX 4.125. That would make those Polks sing.

If you want even more for your money then you could always go used. In which case there are a couple other "Car Audio" forums you could check out.

diyma.com
and
caraudioclassifieds.org

I just ordered the little brother to that pioneer. It's supposed to be here today. I'll post my findings later.

Out of the amps you listed I would stay away from the Crunch and Jensen. I don't think I'd buy that MB quart either because it's not CEA compliant.

The Kenwood and Pioneer are both CEA compliant so you atleast know they put out the power they have them rated for. Sound quality and reliability is another question.

You might want to look on Ebay as well. I bought the pioneer I'm expecting today for $31 plus $12 shipping.

yeah not exactly sure of the MB ONX series. I know the MB DSC series was getting lot of bang for the buck love on diyma.com.

Of the choices presented by the OP it seemed the best. I agree that buying used or even a year or two old model would get more for less.

Hey there.
Just a word of caution with buying amps... when comparing the authorized dealer prices and other internet stores.
“As I was told by my local RF authorized dealer”…
MFR’s build their amps, speakers, products, etc.
They test their completed products.
Some pass QC, then go to the authorized dealers for sale.
AND **some don’t pass QC, failing for a variety of reasons, some minuscule, some not so minuscule**.
Their products may still function, but they may not cover a stated range of frequencies or something else.
Nowadays, MFR’s can’t afford to throw out all products which failed QC.
What do they do with them?
They can sell them to non-authorized dealers at a discounted price.
The MFR warranty is supposedly nonexistent from these places also.
Again, “As I was told by my local authorized dealer”.
Although his prices are high, I bought into his theory.
Food for thought
