Price to fix amp

I have a Kicker ZX400.1 and it went out the other day. I turned my truck on and heard a popping noise from the subs then it went to protect mode and will not come out of it. I am going to send it off to Kicker for them to fix but I was wondering if anyone knew how much it would cost to fix.

Thanks
Matt

Most companies the price is flat rate. Pioneer's is $200 no matter the issues if its out of warranty. Not sure what Kicker's is...maybe try giving them a call

A new ZX400.1 from Sonic is $159.99

So you might want to weigh that versus the price to have yours fixed---DirtySCREW

I'm not sure what to think about Kicker anymore. I sent the amp in and they charged me ~$50 to fix it, not bad at all. I got it back and hooked it up and it did the exact same thing. So I called them and told them and they told me to ship it back and they would fix it for free. So I did and I just got it back and it went out again. I checked all my connections and voltage and its all exactly how it should be. Is the amp just completely shot? I have two 10" Comps hooked up to it at 2 ohms. I didn't even have the amp turned up all. While it was off at Kicker I had another amp hooked up and it worked just fine. Has anyone had this problem with Kicker amps?

Kicker is a big name, but they have really crappy products. Go on an audio forum and get some real equipment.
