Help setting filters on 6 Channel

Hey, I just purchased a JL G-6600 6 Channel to drive my 4 kenwood door speakers and 1 10' Kicker Comp. What should I set my filters on for my fronts, rears, and subs. I'd like the highs coming from the fronts, mids in the back, and lows of course on my sub-- if thats the best sounding setup.
Thanks,
Tanner

Since I assume all 4 of your door speakers are coaxial, start with the crossovers around 100Hz high pass on all of the door speakers. Set the Low Pass on the subwoofer to ~80Hz-100Hz. That should get you started, adjust slightly if desired. If the subwoofer is ported, set the subsonic filter to the tuning frequency of the enclosure. If the subwoofer is sealed, set the subsonic to 20Hz.

Listen to mSaLL. He knows what he's talking about

And with an amp like that... you might consider some mid-bass speakers (instead of those rear coaxials) at some point in the future, for the best sound in the drivers (and front passengers) seats. To heck with the people in the back seat. They could be walking instead, right ? LOL

Oh, hey mSaLL, I still haven't repositioned my mid-bass speakers. It's only been what now... 2 years ? LOL But on the other hand, I've beat the living $#!+ out of my system that entire two years, and (knock on wood) am yet to have had even 1 small failure of anything ! Still amazes people that haven't heard it. I'm pretty used to it though.

Anyway,
Peace,
Fish

Thats good to hear man! In the next few weeks I will be installing 8" subwoofers into my front doors. If all goes well, I'd be happy to help you do the same if you so desire..but it sounds like you are completely satisfied with your setup if it hasnt changed in years. I feel like Im changing something constantly. At some point we should meet up and compare systems over a beer or possibly drop a line?
