Austin Area?

My amp came in today, subs are set to be delivered tomorrow, then my SCS box is supposed to get in monday. But i was wondering who here is in the Austin area? ill be doing this install pretty soon, and any help from people around here, especially those with audio install experience sure would be appreciated. if anything, would be nice to meet other Austin f-150 owners

You didnt offer beer! LOL GL with the install. Half the fun is doing it yourself. You can start running wires now and prep everything so when your goodies arrive its just plug in play. Do a search, there are a few great threads about running power wire. Down the passenger side behind the fender guard, under the truck, up the floor worked great for me.

haha, 18 year old here. although i could still offer beer to takers if ya know what im sayin. :-P
im trying to figure out about power wiring though. i do a good amout of off-roading so i wasn't sure about running the main amp power along the frame though with all the mud, water and debris. Would that cause any issues or should i do the power along the back of the engine bay, through the hole in the firewall on the driver side, then run it through the truck?

If you lay down and look under ur driver door, near the frame that are a few sections near the frame that the wire can sqeeze through. I dont see how it could possibly get caught on anything, but ive heard of people running pvc then the wire through it or covering with something. Do a search.

Also seen there is a hole behind the glove box near the passenver floor board that you can access behind the battery. I never found it but didnt remove my battery to look.
