What would be the best amp for a kicker comp vr 12'' be?

RMS-400w
Max-800w

I got the alpine m500.
500 rms should be perfect,well for 2 ohms.300 at 4 ohms

I have a Hifonics 1206 pushing 2 CVR 12's at 1ohm, been running that way for 2 years now with no problems. Just a testament to Hifonics as I realize you only have 1 sub.
