kenwood amp, da shiz
alright, got the kenwood amp in the mail today, 1000 w @ 2ohms, only thing is i have 2 jl w3's at @4ohms. In order for them to work, i need to wire them parallely (is that a word? long day). so the amp has 2 + outlets and 2- outlets. i know how to wire a regular amp (2 outlets) parallely, but not one with 4 outlets. so how is it done?
1000W @ 2ohms "sounds" like a mono channel amp. Then again I never know, there might be 2-channel bridgeable amps that can operate at 2ohms that I've never seen before?
I have seen JBL and MTX mono channel amplifiers with two sets of (+) and (-). They are connected to the board in parallel internally. Yours might be also, but better be safe than sorry. Model number on the amp?

Then yeah the two sets of connectors are parallel internally in the amplifier. You'd hook one woofer to one set, and another woofer to the other set, and it will cut the nominal resistance of your woofers in half.
