Great amp between 1000-2000w?

What are some really good amps from about 1000w to about 2000? I am looking for a mono class d amp with all the connections on one side. I was going to go with JL 1000/1 v2 but I was looking at other options as well.

What does everyone think about the JL hd amps, the Alpine Vpower, Polk Audio?

I don't like Rockford.

Doesn't matter how much it costs.

I will never buy another Kenwood amp after the excelon x1200m. Their most powerful amp and I have to turn it all the way to even get decent sound out of my Memphis SClass 12".

that amp is 1000 watts max, only 500 rms at 2 ohms. We're talking 1000-2000 rms range.
