Amp and subs question

i just bought an amp and subs from my neighbor it is a 1200w nitro amp and 2 10in mtx jackhammers in a box. she wanted only 30 bucks from them. i was wondering what would be the best way to wire the subs up? the amp is a nirto BMW484

SUBS jh4510-04
10" 4-ohm subwoofer
polypropylene woofer cone with stitched rubber surround
power range: 100-200 watts RMS
peak power handling: 400 watts
frequency response: 31-150 Hz
sensitivity: 86.4 dB
top-mount depth: 4-7/8"
sealed box volume: 0.75 cubic feet
ported box volume: 1.45 cubic feet

Here's your amp specs:

# RMS Power Rating:

* 4 ohms: 125 watts x 2 chan.
* 2 ohms: 175 watts x 2 chan.
* Bridged, 4 ohms: 350 watts x 1 chan.
Looks to me like you'd be best to wire these things parallel for a 2 ohm load.

A mono 2 ohm load will cook that amp if its bridged. I'd just run the amp in stereo mode with one sub per channel. (single 4 ohm coil per sub).

oh yea haha my meds are working over time. But yea run it 2 ohm and get a new amp when it fires.
