Thumbs up Amp install

I was checking out Best Buys website for an amp install kit and saw their price for an amp install. So,I let them install my amp in my truck today.Total out the door,$115.I thought since I had worked some OT last week I deserved to have it professionally installed.I think the tech did a great job!

Looks good man. Any chance you've got the store number and the techs name? I can pass along the thanks if you'd like.

Our only competitor was Circuity City. Of course theres all those smaller chains and mom and pop, but they are either going out of business with the economy, or cater to a higher end client which we dont (but wish we did). Ultimate Electronics does installs as well, but there stores are ghost towns these days. We've got audio express where im at...but there work is so shotty its ridiculous. My senior used to install there, and he couldnt take the short cuts anymore.

There close to 1000 BBY's, and id say about 98% do 12 volt installs. I read somwhere too that over 50% of MECP Master installers are employed by BBY.

Im scared now that Pep Boys is getting into the install business. The day Wal Mart gets into it is the day 12 volt dies.

Anyone know if the BestBuy in Huntsville, AL is any good at installs? Right now my amp is sitting in the rear floor of my truck.. I'd like it to be installed behind the rear seat. But I've heard BestBuy sucks at installs.....
