Amp ground location
underneath the seatbelt bolts there is a gusset under the cab. it has holes in it. its on the passenger side there is an egg shaped hole, i rounded that out with a 1" unibit, so i could get a socket in there. i then took a 1/4" pilot bit and drilled a spotter through the cab floor. i used the jl master ground lug. its a nickel plated stud with a nut on top and bottom. this way my grounds are tight, wont ever be a prollem. yes sand metal clean

some say no to the seat belt bolts, havnt heard the seat track, some say yes to the seat belt bolts, matter of opinion, really just put a nut and bolt through the floor or a stud bolt its simple if u look at it for a few..
seat bolts are fine. Im running my 1200 watt with no issues from my seat bolt ground. Just be sure that there is no paint or dirt and be careful tightening everyhting back up...you dont want to break your connector...unless you found a connector big enough to run your seat bolt through.

I hope you used more then 1 screw and some star washers.
If you've done the big 3 upgrade to the electrical system (upgrade cables to- battery, frame ground, and cab) then it's not to hard to find a solid ground. You can use the seat bolts or run a wire to the frame through the rear vents or use one of the holes under the door floor panels. I have a sub over my jack bolt so that is a no go in my case.
