I think the remote turn on wire can be pushed in with the radio fuse in he fuse box. I dont know if this is the correct place to but it but I have seen a few people doing it this way.

Question remote turn on wire, where to connect?

I have a Profile Jam 400.4 power amp I want to connect to the OEM ford AM/FM/CD. I know where to splice into the harness for the speaker wires, but what should I use for the remote turn on connection to the amp? Does anybody know where I can get a complete pin out of the factory harness?

Thanks,
Chris

If you want something that works, search under you dash for red w/ yellow strip wire. That wire has power when the keys are in the ignition and turned towards the on position. Kinda offway to do it but it does work.
