Cool Back to the search.....sigh

Okay now that the Sony deal fell through,I'm scouting possibles for the next amp to buy..
I'm looking into the Sony Xplode 1505SX
880 Watt 5/3 amp.. It looks like a good prospect.
I'm also tempted to go low budget, and get this Jensen(insert laugh here)400 watt 4/3/2 channel. Now I know Jensens rep. has not been good for the last 10 or 15 years, but they seem to be making a comeback.
I've also looked at a Kicker,but at $479 it's a little pricy for me.
Any new suggestions for 5/3 or 4/3/2 channel amp? I'm hoping for at least 100 watts for the sub,and about 50 to 100 watts x 2 for the front speakers. I don't necessarily want to amplify the rears,as they didn't sound worth a #### with just the Kenwood head unit(45x4)anyway...
Help me out if you will,Please?
I'm just looking for a simple one amp system that ROCKS! ,,,,,,98

Don't know how they fair price wise. Probably 500 or so but I am going with the Soundstream rubicon 555 (75x4 150x1) I have heard it in a jeep cherokee (rattle rattle) and it was pretty good. I suppose Eclipse and Nakamichi are out of the budget (as for me too).

Yep,out of price range. I'm looking for something in the 3 to $400 price range. Just want to drive a 5 1/4" or 6 1/2" combo, and a 10" sub, very handily. That Sony is looking better all the time, not huge, and plenty of power...Some of the ones I've looked at have been three foot long almost. Like they were built more for show, than for actually fitting in a vehicle,lol,,,,,,98

Look into MTX. I am running a 4180 model (45x4) that is actually making closer to 60watts. I am running channels 3&4 bridged to my 12" sub. The amp does a great job! My sub is getting around 180 watts and does a very resepectable 123Db at 45Hz.
I have also looked into the jensen 3ch amp the sub section is 1 ohm stable and actually has gotten positive reveiws

I wasn't aware that MTX made amplifiers,,I'll look into one. I have to find a dealer here in Detroit to hear one, though. I heard about a huge auto swap meet going on this weekend,so I'm checking that out first Supposedly, that's where the amp I wanted to buy is going to be(according to the guys that sold it out from under me,anyway) Hey,maybe I can get some decent equipment, cheap! You never know,,,,,,,,98

Try a Hifonics Zeus. 50W x 4 channels and 200 x 1 for the sub for $350.

Forgot to leave the web address, this is at Sound Domain which has excellent service and a good forum where all your questions can be answered. The only place better is termpro, but allot of the same people frequent both places.

So if I bridge the 4 front channels into 2,the fronts will get 100watts and the sub will get 300!!! I like the sound of that!! Dynomat, get ready for an extensive profit, lol. Sounds great,wolvrin704.
I'll have to do a little research first,as I have never heard of this brand before(I'm a bit out of touch with car stereo brands nowadays),,,,,,98
