Question Amp Question

Ok, I'm new to this stereo stuff, so please bare with me.

I just bought 2 Polk Audio EX10s to mount in custom enclosures I am building under my rear seat (F150 SuperCab 4-door).

They will be firing down at the floor boards raised about 2" from carpet. They are sealed, independent boxes made of 3/4" MDF with apx. interior space of 0.67 cu. ft. Almost exactly what the Polk EX10 calls for. Trying to find a good amp that will run these subs with out alot of problems. I am slooowwwly building this system because of the holidays...$$$$$$.

Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance, Lariat4wd

Well in order to power a good amp, you will need an alternator. I ahve one for sale a 200A alterntor that will fit the 4.6 or the 5.4L egines. Brand new and with warrenty. only 275.00. It is a spare because I compete alot.
Get a Power Acoustik 2APC1400 to Power those subs. Great amp no problems..plus sheap

Look for an amp that outs out a power range that works well with the handling capabalities with the subs you own.

The best advice I can give you is go to a few car audio places and tell them what you have, what sound you want and what your limit is and see what they suggest. Then compare.

------------------
black 97' x-cab 4x4, 5 speed 4.6, black westin nerf bars, pilot ground searchers, borla SS split rear exhaust, K&N genII, bosch +4 plugs, superchip, flexalite electric fan, v-tech oval side window covers, IAS shocks

premier 720, pioneer 6cd changer, 12 premier sub, premier componets, 2 soso amps

still to come: new spark plug wires, new rims and tires, maybe a supercharger eventually.
