Post Wiring & Location of Amp and CD Changer?

I just bought the stock stereo head w/CD controls and 6 disk CD changer out of a 1997 Explorer. I have a 97 F150 and just bought an amp from the premium system out of a 1997 Thunderbird. My mistake was thinking that the stock stuff would just plug and fit in. I bought the wiring harness for the CD from the dealership. Where does the amp and CD mount in the OEM setup? My truck does not have the premium system and I have not got the amp yet. Should all of the wires hook up using all of these parts. Also I did not get a bracket with the CD, does anyone have an idea how to mount it. I can make something up if I have too. Any imput is greatly appreciated

I'd ask someone at a dealership. My stock 6-disk cd changer is in the back seat (supercab) drivers side panel indent.
