Im putting a 10 under the back seat of my 01 scab, I plan on putting the amp under the front seat. I bought the fosgate "amp instal kit" and was wondering what the best way to run the big wire though the fire wall etc etc, is there a write up some where i did a seach and didnt come up with anything helpful

 

When i did mine on my 03 screw, i ran the wire threw the rubber gromet on the drivers side. Open the hood and look at the drivers side and you will see the rubber gromet.

i ran mine through a gromet in the floor on the passenger side...

 

As yet another option, i ran mine through the rubber grommet that all the door harness passes through

 

Drivers side fire wall for me

 

If you dont have a 5spd then there is a clutch grommet above the engine on the drivers side. This is the best grommet.

 

sweet thanks guys, anyone know how to get the plastic door sill piece off at the bottom by the carpet so i can run the wires under there?

 

Just pull up at one end and keep going, there about 5 clips on my supercab. But I imagine the previous body style would be very similar.
