System Broke :(

well I was just driving last week and all of the sudden my subs just cut off
I didnt hit a bump or hear a pop or anything

I checked the fuse that comes off my battery and both fuses in the amp and all were fine
I've also checked the ground, power and all other connections, except for the RCA inputs in the back of my head unit but I dont think that would have anything to do with it because the amp isnt getting any power at all, it doesnt even go into safe mode

what really throws me is yesterday it randomly started working for like two minutes and then quit for no reason again.

any ideas on what could be wrong?

btw i have two diesel audio 12"s and a Performance Technique 800w amp...

so then the amp isnt turning on? check your remote wire and if it is on and cuts out check the speaker wires inside the box and also the wire going to the box. i had a similar problem i would turn and my door speakers would like fade out and then in (very weird) but found out that one of the speaker terminal on the amp was loose so just double check your connections and hopefully your amp is good....good luck

Yea I've had speaker wires pop off subs in the box before. It really annoyed the **** out of me trying to troubleshoot the problem when it's something you never think would be wrong does in fact go wrong. So the amp doesn't power up at all? If there's a fuse on the remote wire it might of got shorted and popped. Easy to test, just remove the remote wire from the amp and short a small wire from the power to the remote terminal. You can also use a headphone to RCA jack cable with a mp3 player to test the RCA inputs of the amp. Also use a multimeter to check the ground and power inputs, fuses sometimes pop and it can visually look fine. Also turn off any built in crossovers in the amp and go to direct feed. I've seen these filters act up before.

Get a DMM and have fun. Test everything...

Check for 12v on Rem. Check for 12v on B+.

Wait what wire kit are you using? Glass fuse? (Im betting you are. Change the fuse, they will look normal but is effed.)
