No it is not hard at all.

You have one connection to the battery, one ground connected to the truck, one remote wire connected to the back of the radio, a pair of RCA's going from the radio to the amp, and lastly the speaker wires going from the amp to the subs.

If you have the slightest mechanical ability it should take you maybe an hour at most.

Slow down a bit.

What is the make and model of your amp?

When you say you have the remote wire wired to the back of the stereo does that mean it is just wired to the stereo or it is wired to the stereo and the amp?

The red wire that goes to the batter will need a fuse on it, keep the fuse as close to the battery as possible.

This pink wire with red stripes and black stripes is it coming out of the amp or just a wire you have on hand to use?

Pictures would really help here

Ok the "pink wire" is speaker wire.

On the side of the amp you should have 2 terminals, one says SPKR+ and the one next to it says SPKR-

You will notice the pink wire is acctually two seperate wires connected in the middle rather than one big wire. Now what you want to do is take the speaker wire and cut it into two even sections. Once cut you need to take the ends of it and seperate the one with the red stripe and the one with the black stripe, not all the way but maybe 4" or so.

I take it you can figure out how to strip wires so you will need to strip an inch or so of all the ends. Now take both sections of wire and twist the tww stripped ends that have the red line on them and put them into the SPKR+ terminal on the amp. Do the same with the two ends that have the black stripe on them but put these into the SPKR- terminal.

Do you see how the quick connects on the speaker box have a red line on one pole and a black on the other. Well you take one set of wires run it to the first quick connect and put the stripped end that had the red stripe into the terminal with the red line and put the stripped end that had the black line into the terminal that has the black line. Repeat this with the other section of wire coming from the amp to the second quick connect on the box.

Now if you look on the ends of the fuse holder(I have red arrows pointing to it in the pic below) you will see two allen bolts one per side. loosen thoes until they almost come out. Take that red power wire and cut a section about 14" long. Strip about 3/4" of the insulation off of each end of it. Take one end and put it into the fuse holder it will slide into the hole where the red ends are right now. Once in tighten the allen screw back down. Now on the other end of that 14" wire you need to put the ring terminal which will connect to the battery. The ring terminal I circled in yellow in the picture. On the other side of your bag you will see a red rubber boot that is big enough to fit over the tube shaped end of that ring terminal. SLide the red boot onto the wire, put the wire into the tube part of the ring terminal and crimp the ring terminal onto the red power wire. To connect the ring terminal to the wire you need crimpers but in a pinch I guess a set of linesman pliers will work to crush the tube part of the ring terminal around the wire. Once that is done just slide the red rubber boot up over the tube part of the ring termina. Be sure to give it a few good tugs to make sure the connection is solid.

Next up you have to run the rest of that power wire from the amp's power terminal, through the cabin, through the firewall to get it into the engine bay, and make it connect with the other side of the fuse holder.

Let me know how you make out with all of that.

You still need to hook up the ground(black) wire.

Do you have a drill?

Do you have or can you get self tapping screws?

Can you handle drilling into the floor of the truck making sure to check underneath to make sure you are not drilling through anything?

You will need some sandpaper as well.
